Why an Author Visit?
A visit to most settings will be considered. Whether it be to a nursery, pre-school, school, church hall, or village hall to name a few! I can visit in person or virtually.

- The cost is based on distance to your setting. `Please make contact to discuss.
- I request that in advance of the visit:
- my book information is shared with parents/guardian’s
- A unique discount code for your setting will be organised for any sales through the website shop
- I will offer a discount to the usual retail price
- I am happy to sign any copies sold – for free

Visit Details
A standard visit can include the following topics, age dependent:
- The journey of becoming a published author
- What inspired me to publish my books
- A book reading
- Q and A throughout the session
- Fun activity (Optional and time dependent)

Frequently Asked Questions What age groups can the visit be tailored for?
- I can tailor the experience for any age
- My board books are for ages from birth, up to around the age of 3
- My picture books are from age 3, up to around the age of 8
- For older age groups the content will be adjusted accordingly
Will your visit have different content for each age group?
- All visits include a book reading
- All visits include a power point slide tailored for that age group
- The session is run based on the age of the children
How long does each presentation last?
A standard visit is around 45 minutes, the older age groups can be slightly longer.
Will you bring along your books to sell on the day?
- In advance of the visit, I request that info of the visit is shared with parents/guardians, along with the unique online discount code set-up for your setting, that can be used to purchase books through my online shop
- Books can also be purchased on the day, although a pre-order would be ideal to avoid any disappointment
- Books will be offered at a discounted rate
- I would be more than happy to sign the books on the day for free
- Any books ordered will be delivered to the setting on the day of the visit. Any books ordered after this date will be subject to a delivery cost
What do you charge for the visit?
- Currently the visits are £50 within a 20 mile radius, this can be a one of fee or through the setting ordering this value in books. This does not include parent/guardian order values
- Outside of this distance additional travel costs would be chargeable
What prep work do I as a setting need to do?
- Please distribute information of the visit to parents/guardians in advance of the visit, along with the settings unique discount code that can be used on check out in my online shop
- I will bring along the books to read
- I run the power point slides from my windows laptop. Please provide the necessary equipment to display this on a larger screen. If this is not equipment your setting has no problem, I can run through the same information without the slides
