For a couple of years now, I’ve had an idea growing quietly in the back of my mind—a book series for children aged 6 to 10. The characters, the setting, the adventures… it’s been something I’ve felt deeply passionate about but kept close to my heart as I slowly nurtured the idea.Well, I’m thrilled to finally share that things are really starting to happen!I’ve now drafted two books in the series, and the first book is currently being illustrated. Watching these characters and moments come to life through illustration is more exciting than I can put into words. There’s nothing quite like seeing your imagination take shape—and for the first time, it’s not just in my head or on a page, but visibly real. I’m keeping most of the details under wraps for now (you’ll hear more once the illustrations are nearing completion!)—but there’s one little thing I just had to share…One of the characters is illustrated based on my daughter. Seeing her likeness captured in the story illustration has been such a special and emotional moment for me—and I just couldn’t keep it to myself. I absolutely love it.
